In today's society, innovation research which focuses on the social economy is especially important. The sustainability of social innovations is paramount in order to develop an environment where the society as a whole profits and social enterprises can excel and meet a range of community needs. This book brings together a collection of papers on social entrepreneurship that have been presented at the European Conference for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ECIE) and International Conference for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ICIE).
